Internship Details

Objective 

This internship will give college students hands-on experience and networking opportunities provided by IAYSP USA. Participants who complete the program will have gained professional skills in program development, communications, membership care, fundraising and more.

Possible projects include

  • Planning, coordinating and promoting S!NERGY events and online webinars

  • Developing social media content for raising awareness of UN SDG related causes

  • Assistance with special projects both international and domestic

  • Further develop the membership platform and engagement on that platform

  • Research and develop ways to engage our target audience, members and youth at large

  • Newsletter 

  • Showcase of IAYSP projects around the world

  • Launch or develop a local chapter of YSP or launch kit

Qualified Participants 

The program is open to recent graduates and current college students that share a passion for IAYSP’s mission and peace perspective. All prospective interns need to be US citizens or residing in the US.

Other desired qualities include skills in social media, customer service and relations, and event planning. 

Basic proficiency with current technology (Google Drive Suite, MS Suite) is required.

Work & Schedule

This internship is available on a part-time basis, with duration ranging from 5-10 hours per week. The intern should expect to check-in with the supervisor daily, Monday through Friday.

The intern will be expected to work 100% virtually. Any in-person activities such as meetings or service activities are optional. Interns are responsible to communicate with their supervisor if late or unable to work. 

Compensation

There is no compensation for this internship. Each intern is responsible for his/her own personal expenses.
