On November 27, 2021 Youth and Students for Peace (YSP) members in New Jersey joined the Collegiate Association for the Research of Principles (CARP) members for Nutley, New Jersey’s R.A.K.E.S service project to help senior citizens and those who are disabled in the community with raking leaves on their lawn. A team of 16 volunteers worked together to rake leaves from the front and back yards of five senior citizens’ homes. The volunteers had a great time and even had the opportunity to sing a Christmas song to one of the senior residents.
