On January 28, 2023, Shine City Project cleaned up at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Windmill Lane! With gloves, grabbers, and trash bags, our group picked up litter behind the 7-Eleven along Windmill Lane. To help out, we had twelve volunteers with one joining us for the first time! We found an abundance of items such as cardboard, plastic bottles, fountain cups, straws, and food packaging. As we were cleaning up, there were people who took notice of the work we were doing. One of our own community members even stopped by to appreciate us and offer a small donation! In the end, we were able to fill 32 bags of trash! Overall, it was a great way to contribute to the community! After the cleanup, we enjoyed some Zen Curry!
