In support of sustainable practices such as buying and selling secondhand, Youth and Students for Peace will be partnering with Women’s Federation for World Peace USA (WFWP USA), on the #GivingforGood project initiated by WFWP International Senior Vice President, Sun Jin Moon. The project focuses on taking care of the environment through reducing waste by encouraging members and the general public to sort through clothing and items that are no longer needed, and posting them online to sell. This could be an opportunity to make extra income as many of us are stuck at home due to Covid-19. A percentage of the income from selling items online can be used to support a nonprofit of your choice, but it is totally up to you! An official launch for this project will be on May 15 and we invite you to join by posting your items that day with other #GivingforGood supporters! Together, we can break the cycle of over-consumption and pollution of the earth!
